Who's the Bad Guy?

Since the US Illegal Internet Gambling Act is taking over the news with stories of finances and the world wide web, so many people are asking themselves what the actual difference between Internet gambling and online commerce is.

Two people are hanging in their agencies both of them risk their money online, while one of them is breaking the law, at the same time the other one is not. One of them is a daily merchant, and in spite of how you look at it, that businessman is risking his funds for the possibility to raise his revenues. I believe that both these men use the Internet for one reason. Yet, the last is at the moment participating in a dishonest business. Why prohibited? Since Government of the US is not getting a single cent of the income from the the army of online gamblers. It only levies tax money from the day e-seller.

Each day residents of America lose several million dollars on dealing with paper holdings, not located in Wall Street business offices, but from their lounges. Those common men are not highly-qualified stock brokers, and they do not hold any license - in spite of all this they do not have any legal obstacles to risking their money online.

To tell the truth, the one single actual differing feature between e-commerce and online gaming is the amount of profits the US Government receives from the businesses: Day trading = lots of money; Gambling on Internet = not a single cent and lots of casino bonuses for gamblers. It is said that the US Congress passed the anti-gambling online ban for the exact reason that the country is not getting any revenues of the millions spent each day.

The US Government is saying that forbade online gambling to keep Americans away from a hazardous pastime - as people can easily get used to it like drug addicts get used to drugsruin families by causing gamblers lose all their money. But this will not affect the unlicensed traders, who are free to go on and trade papers, which are not on internet. Perhaps no one remembers the reason, why skyscrapers in New York have windows that can not be pulled up or opened: it was made on purpose not to let all the day traders from plummeting to their death after losing all their money!

Day traders generally receive advice from a third party, and occasionally they just guess and place orders as luck would have it. There was a time when many people were investing and making a fortune, until this bubble exploded and so many people lost everything they had and were left with just a pile of debts.

If online gamblers are famous for one thing, it's taking an interest in what they do. It seems like nobody gambles online on a consistent basis without learning the rules of the games they play, various special ways, the figures and the art of gambling. When online players improve their skills, they play with others at a higher level in best online casinos, but no beginner is forced into a poker room with professionals.

Some people now live on gambling online. Amateur gamblers earn up to $10,000 monthly, and while still they do not form the major part, they are the best of the best. All poker professionals are now officially out of work due to the new online gambling ban, and negative casinos review in the web. And gambling professionals are not the only people left aside. Many people around the world are losing their jobs because of the cutbacks in the online gambling business.

If the US Government wants to save Americans from loosing millions, so why do they still let the legalized form of gambling called day trading ruin the lives of regular men?
