Unless you're Bill Murray or Scarlett Johansson it's no fun being lost in a place where cannot understand a word people say. That location can be a far away land, an unknown avenue, or sometimes even your own apartment when a new lawn or cleaning team arrives.

What does one do when you notice someone who does not speak your language? You may try using fingers to communicate. The difficulty is that there are many countries out there as well as there are various circumstances. You could always have a dictionary around and frantically sieve through thousands of pages in a split of a second. It might be inconvenient if you are not that prompt. Or you might opt for a more modern and convenient solution. Like acquiring an electronic Spanish translator.
